JOURNEYS BEYOND THE NEATLINE:
Expanding the boundaries of cartography

Due east over Stokes Mountain

This exhibit -- Journeys beyond the neatline: expanding the
boundaries of cartography
--presents works of two University of Alberta affiliated artists/cartographers who have documented
their personal journeys through text and maps. The title of the exhibit--Journeys beyond the neatline--reflects Michael's and Matthew's personal journeys, both of which
go beyond the traditional boundaries of the printed map--the neatline.

In their respective ways, Michael and Matthew have made
personal pilgrages that traverse terrain and individual
experience. But beyond that, theirs are unique experiences recorded in text and visual expression as maps.
